Hey howdy hey
Dried mangoes are delicious. If you're at the store and don't know if they are worth the money the answer is yes. Since I helped you with this life changing decision I think I deserve 1/4 of your mangoes. It's only fair and it's not like I creep into your cupboard at night and munch on your mangoes all the while chortling to myself at what a fool you are. That sort of thing only happens in movies and on tv.
A big thanks to Aunt Carol, Granny Carla, and Amy for coming to watch me at my show on Sunday. Grandpa Tim, I hope you're feelin better. The show went well. It was kind of iffy for a bit because Thursday when I went to have Lani, my trainer, hope on Scout real quick he came up dead lame. It was like the horse only had three legs. Scout is kind of a sissy anyway so I'm sure it wasn't as bad as he was making it out to be but I'm pretty sure he was convinced he only had three working legs. The day before Lani had gotten on him and had a fight with Scout because he was being a super jerk. Some how he manage to side step on himself which led to him becoming crippled permanently!! (at least that's what he tried to convince me was going to happen) Luckily, he could walk again the next day and by Saturday he was almost all the way better. You couldn't tell that he was limping at all so I did my dressage test and then my stadium jump round. If he was visibly limping I wouldn't be allowed to compete. Dressage went better than the show before so I was happy about that. Jumping was freakin ugly :( I wish I could actually jump nicely. On Sunday cross-country was fun but fast. I got some time penalties for going too fast. I ended up 5/20 in my division.
Nothing new to report with the internship. Still going to Australia for a marine biology internship at Under Water World for six months. Still leaving in September and living with Andrew and Maureen, my host dad and mom, in Mooloolaba. Yup, same old, same old.
My dad did trade in our old Mormon wagon for a Nissan Titan which looks something like this.
I don't know what year or anything like that but it's a pretty sweet ride! It has a lot more pick up and go than I thought it would. Lot's of fun. Only problem is that the boat is still out of commission so there's nothing for it to pull. Sad day to be a truck owned by us.
Beagles love blueberries, remember that. It may save your life one day.

Back So Soon
I just got an email with the ride times for this weekend. They are as follows
Dressage- Sat 8:54am
Stadium- Sat 2:45pm
XCountry- Sun 10:54am
If you want to come I would suggest coming Saturday afternoon to watch the stadium. I'm going to tell you right now that my jump round only takes a few minutes so just think about if the drive is really worth it to you. If you do come I would come a little early because sometimes at these horse trails they don't go in order and I could go early if I'm ready. Sayin that they are almost always a few minutes behind schedule but watch them be on top of things this time :) The address to the fairgrounds is 1000 north 1200 west Ogden, Utah. Ok, good luck to those who wanna come and I'll see the rest of yas later.

Up To Date
Hello one and all.
Just a few quick updates and then you can do whatever you'd like. First my show this weekend is at Golden Spike Arena aka the fairground in Ogden, and is just a Saturday to Sunday shin-dig. If you wanted to come I would suggest coming on Saturday if you can because I'll be doing two of the three phases that day, dressage and stadium jumping. Sunday will be cross country, which is my favorite. I still don't know what time I will be riding and probably won't until I get up there Friday. I'm not expecting anyone to come so please don't feel like you have to. If you would like to you're more than welcome but just know that I don't expect anyone to be there.
Secondly, there is no new news about Australia. :) Have a super great week all.

Adventure Time!!!!
Welcome back.
I hope that you had a wonderful adventure navigating thru my last few posts. They're full of all spelling and grammatical errors along with the occasional poisonous vipor and crocodile. I've gotta make these things interesting some how, my agent told me so. Something about ratings and getting dropped to the center of the earth or some nonsense like that. *shrugs* You know those guys, all nut jobs. Except you Ebenezer Stacey Mower!! *shouts to agent*
Anyway, now that we have that awkward shtuff behind us let's get down to business!! But not the kind where we defeat the Huns. So we, my family and I which also includes Clistan, just got back from the first Lake Powell trip this year. We went down and partied with the Taylors....and the Neil Kyra clan, if you much know ALL the specifics and details you nosey person you. The clan previously mentioned has a timeshare on a houseboat and we were lucky enough to be invited to share in the jubilee, hip hip hureee!! You can see pictures from the trip here.
Some cool pictures that some of you may be interested in seeing some cool pictures look below!!!!!!!!

These are pictures of the room I will be staying in Australia. Very green which I don't mind but I hope that the bed isn't too soft because I can't sleep in soft beds. Aunt Tara's Bed and Breakfast knows what I'm talking about.
I unfortunately don't have pictures of me from the Colorado Horse Park yet but I'll keep all you fine people updated on that stuff and let you know when they get uploaded.
That's all for now dude-a-loodoos!!

CHP
Hello all the people of the world! I welcome you all the language of English as it is the only one I know how to speak so you're stuck with it if you want to read this blog. If you don't, then be off with you!! I don't have time for non-committal people filling up my stats on who looks at this thing, and yes to some surprise from some of you, some people do actually look at my blog.
So I'm back from the Colorado Horse Park (CHP) and it was a lot of fun. It's a really big neat place. There should be some good pictures that I took while there if you want to get a look see. Just click on the word here. It was cool because it was a fairly big show as there were some two star competitors which means people almost good enough to make it to the Olympics were there. I got to watch their show jumping round which was awesome but missed their cross country which would've been really awesome! Some of those fences are HUGE!!! It would be so fun and cool to be able to jump that stuff some day :) *sigh* Someday.....The cool jumping pictures are at the end of the album if you're interested. Also pictures of me will be coming once they are loaded online.
Scout and I didn't do as well this show as we did in our last competition. Our dressage test did not go as well as it did in the pouring rain at Spring Gulch. The heat affected us both differently than the rain, go figure ;) We ended up with a 38.3 which is ok but not awesome. Cross country was a lot of fun but he was pretty strong and fast thru most of the course. The slowest you could finish the course was 6.19 mins and the fastest was 4.55 mins. There are approx min markers on the course to help you get a feel for if you are coming in too fast or too slow because if you're not in between the two times you get penalized and get points added to your dressage score. You want a lower score like in golf. Anyway at fence ten you were suppose to have been on the course for 3 mins but when I checked my watch it said 1.41 mins! That's WAY WAY too fast and after that fence I was able to get him to pay attention to me better and we were able to slow way down and make a good time of 5.30 or something like that. We also didn't get any refusals or anything so we went double clear. We also went double clear in stadium tho I felt like a retard because I wasn't able to get Scout to give me the right cantar lead which plays a part, for me right now, in turning corners. This is something I also am working on. He was a good boy tho and we ended up 8th out of 22 people which isn't too bad for a second outing.
I do have a show coming up June 22-24 up in Ogden at the Golden Spike Arena if anyone is interested. It should be a good basic show. Very nice.
Other news, I found out information about my host family that I'll be staying with while I'm in Aussieland. Their names are Andrew and Maureen Harris are both between the ages of 50-70. They've had over 25 kids stay at their house and the last three interned at UWW and loved it there. They have a two bedroom villa with large backyard and the backyard has pegola and entertainment area. There is also a large dining and kitchen with very large lounge area. It is in a private setting and the home is close to TAFE and walking distance to beach and shops with a bus stop directly outside the home. They work in Aged Care facility and own a toy poodle named Bunnie. They enjoy walking on beach, BBQ with friends, and enjoy reading books. Additional costs include arranging connection to the internet and locked home phone for international calls - can use for local calls. I will get my own bedroom and bathroom along with cooked meals. They are ballroom dancers and this is a picture she sent to me of them.

For those of you who didn't know what a pegola was click here. I didn't know what it was either and had to google it. Man, I don't know what you old people did without google. Seriously is super useful. Anywho, they seem like real nice people and I'm excited to meet them. It should be a pretty good place and they sound pretty chill about everything so I'm hoping they didn't have 25 interns that suffered immensely and that I'll be their 26 victim. They seem really nice to I don't think I really have to worry about it that much. Super cool man, oh man, oh manny!!
We are off to Lake Powell on Wednesday after Shay gives her speech thing for finishing her last year of elementary. Crazy that my littlest sister is going to junior high!!! That makes me feel old!! I can't imagine how the rest of you old fogies feel ;)
The only other news I have is that Band of Horses will be playing at the twilight concert series this summer! TOTALLY RAD!! Look at the rest of the lineup.
There are some Band of Horses songs if you want to check them out. That's it for now folks!!!
