Life Is Good

Hey there people of the world. I decided to break my habit of doing one post a month. At least for this month the habit will be broken. I'm not making any promises with future months. Those last few months of the year get so needy if you make any sort of half leading promises they cling to them and you and start saying that you don't really love them because you never do anything with them and that they were just one post flings. Sorry to break it to you October and November but that's what you are.
Speaking about people of the world one too many run on sentences ago, I have had some crazy countries passing by my blog. My monthly count goes as follows

This surprised me. Guess what the top used browser to view my blog was? For those of you who don't know what a browser is it is an application you use to surf the web. Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, these are all browsers. Anywho, guess which browser was used most. Safari!! I would never have guessed it!! I didn't know that anyone used that browser!

Here's a quick funny video that Tristan can now relate to.

Just after she had Lil-ja, a nurse did a similar thing to Tristan :D Oh, the joys of child birthing ;) For more details and embarrassing facts please contact Tristan directly.

:D

Wedding updates! I've already made my invites but I want to see which one you like. These are just the boarders for the invites. Please use the poll at the top and side of this post to vote for which one you like best please.

Number One

Number Two

Number Three

As I said before, I already have them printed out so your opinion doesn't matter that much. I'm just interested to see what you all think. I know that it's confusing and hard to do but if you can leave a comment below this blog as to why you picked the one you liked because your opinion matters. I was just joking before sheesh!! You people are so sensitive! You should know that 99% of what comes out my mouth is sarcastic and 100% hilarious :)

I took these pictures but never posted them so I thought I would now. These are from the 4th July Brewer brunch. Back when Tristan was fat and gross. At least, that's what Clay told me. If you're wondering, Tristan is wearing one of Clay's shirts. I asked her if she was and she replied, "Yeah I was feeling fat and lazy so I dressed that way."

Breakfast Burrito and Fruit

Funny thing about that hoola hooping video. When I was playing it to make sure it worked my dog started getting all worried and a little freaked out because she could hear a hoola hoop but couldn't see one. Silly dawg, hoops are for circus animals and pregnant ladies :)

For those of you who care, Wolf Creek was lots of fun :) Tyrell and them showed up this year and it was a gay ol' time for all. Tristan and Clay even made it up for the night Saturday.

Last, but definitely not least, it's best to have all endings come and pass with a laugh. For that I leave you with my hilarious fiancé. Shhhhh! Don't tell him I said that or his head will be too big to put any of his shirts on!! Enjoy :)

Deflated Balloon

Hello one and all. I guess it's time for another post on the ole blog because Shayli has been harassing me about it. You know it's been a long time when your younger look-a-like with big boobs and all is whining that you haven't written on your blog for a long time. Not much more obvious things then that. Since you've last heard from me I haven't done a whole lot. Well, that's a bit of a lie, but shhhhh! If no one knows then it won't matter!

My family and I actually got back from Lake Powell. We had two trips planned with only a week to separate them. My family was dreading the long drive but I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I have a job and all but man all mighty! I have sure been glad to get a break from it. I'm very glad that I won't be doing this for more than seven months because it's purty draining. Those of you who have worked in the customer service industry for a year or more I applaude you. You deserve some kind of reward. I guess this is me, the person who hates people saying this, all the same some one should give them a dum dum or something. That's all I'm saying.

The first trip to Powell was fun but pretty crazy and freakin ridiculously hot. Ond day it was 112 or something stupid like that. That's according to my mom and you know mom's are always right. We stayed the first two night on the other Morris's houseboat and then the second night at the dock because we were having electrical issues with the houseboat. We had a real good time playin though and I am slowly becoming a better surfer. Someday soon I'll be ready to challenge Kelcie to a surf off. Kelcie! I almost challenge you to a du-du-du-du-duel!!!

The second Powell trip was great also. This time we went down to Page, which personally is more fun because there weren't so many boats in tiny little areas. It seems to me that Bullfrog is more narrow canyon type stuff and the Page area is much more open. In a few years it'll probably be the same though. The water is very very low. But regardless of which side is better, we still had a lot of fun. Sydney chipped a tooth and grandpa Micky didn't get wet once. Thanks you two for taking the bad mojo so the rest of us could have a blast ;) Though I don't know if much could get Syd down. That girl was always smiling and happy. She must have learned it from me. What a good older role model I am :D Pictures of this trip can be seen here.

Ok, example at the ridiculousness of some people that come into my job. This lady came in with her two boys. One of was about six, the other about 4. She wanted to email me some pictures to print and to have some documents printed as well. She had about 30 pictures she was going to email me and about 5 or so different documents to print. Her two boys were out of control. Grabbing things off shelves, getting in and out of the cart, running around, taking candy off the shelves and eating it, they were pretty much demons from hell. She's trying to send me these pictures and print these documents off while trying to control her kids. All she'd do is tell them to come here and when they would run away she'd say, "what did I say? come here". Of course her kids didn't take her seriously and kept being horrible. She came in about 40 mins before we closed and stayed about 10 mins after we did close. Because of when she came and how long she stayed I hadn't done any of my closing activities (cleaning, putting paper in the printers, etc) I didn't leave there until about 9:40. What she should have done is email me the pictures with instructions on what she wanted done and then said about when she'd be by to pick them up. That would have saved everyone greif. Her kids were so bad that when I was telling my parents about it and was telling them what she'd say to her kids, my dog got up and came to me thinking I was talking to her. My dog listens better than her children. So very sad. Ok, I'm done with my tirad on stupid people I deal with :D

As all or many of you may know Tristan had her baby yesterday July 12 sometime around 5 pm, I think. Not 100% sure on that one. This is what the Clayton had to say about it.

"Well everybody, Lilja Belle Soelberg is here! Thanks for your love and prayers. Tristan pushed for 45 minutes and did great. She tore a tad, but nothing serious. Lilja is 6 lbs 11 oz and 21" long. Basically, she's long and skinny with a sweet cone head for now. She's been really quiet and latched on to breast feed right away on both sides. Her eyes are blue and she has light brown hair. She's a beautiful girl and so far an awesome baby! The nurses want Tris to keep feeding her for a while as they come in and out checking vitals. Eventually, they'll have me bathe her and we'll move to another room so my wonderful wife can have dinner. Please don't everyone rush over since we want some time with her first."

She is a skinny baby with a quieter cry, which was nice. It's perfect karma because my parents make fun of this waiter at a place we go to eat saying he sounds like The Count from Sesame Street. So who does their new grandchild sound like? The Count. Whaa whaa whaa! It goes when it cries. Everything went well for them during the delivery and such. Trist went to the hospital at midnight the night before because she was having really bad contractions and then they ended up keeping her because her amniotic fluids were really low so they induced her. Clistan are both very tired but stan looked very exhausted. Everyone is happy and I'm mom has been consumed by baby fever but maybe you'll join her once you see the little thing too ;)

Dusts!! Another Late Post!

If you were wondering I am currently listening to Shayli watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Brings back goo memories :) Good show, good times, good laughs :) Except when Kelcie goes on a rampage and throws chairs at me while Deidre continues to provoke the raging beast. *narrows eyes*.....stupid girl.

Summer seems to finally showed it's sweltering sweaty face. Now that I typed that I bet we'll get another cold spell. You're welcome ^_^ Yes, I am going Japanese on your face so kimono up and let's getter done!!

Alright so the last time I updated you all was.....MAY 7TH!!! *low whistle* I didn't think it was really THAT long ago. In that last blog I was looking for a job. The day after I posted that blog entry I got a job. Yippie skippy for the magic of the internet! I am working part-time at Office Depot in Draper. It's a nice little job that gives me plenty of time to do things that I want to do :) I'm not making a ton but I'm hoping that it'll be flexible enough that I can do a boating trip or two before the summer is over. I work in the copy and print area of the store and I tell you what! There are some crazy demands that people have when it comes to that kind of stuff! I had someone today come in and want their little National Geographic book coil bound. It's already in book form and they want me to cut the binding and then re-bind it! I did mostly design a pamphlet for this car detailer which was cool, now that I don't have the pressure of gettting 5 big jobs done by the end of the week. The gal who knows how to work photoshop and all that did some touch up stuff and made it look really nice. Of course there were issues with where things were places when they were printed out but our big main machine was broken so I couldn't fix anything and had to find a way around it. Lesson from that was have things in two forms, hard copy and electronic :) But getting back to crazy printing demands, it's usually older ladies who want the most bizarre things. Do they just get bored at home alone and decide to go to every shop they come across and ask for the most insane thing that comes to their head?! After they've ruined other people's day do they think before they drift off, "What a good day. I ruined so many lives smiley face" Lesson learned there is that old ladies are diabolical schemers and I wouldn't be surprised if the next big revolution or uprising is started by old women. They'll succeed too because while they're imprisoning human kind we'll still be fooled thinking they were just cute, harmless, old women and ask for another cookie and some milk to have while we are kept in the dungeon.

Which brings me to my next topic of how awesome Brandon Sanderson is. This dude is truly my nerd idol. Shay, Mik, and I went to his booksigning, reading, Q&A, awesomeness last Monday. We waited for two hours in line before we got in but it was well worth it. The man is a legend. And with all legends brings a whole freaking room of people that want to talk to him, get their books signed, and maybe catch a smidge of his awesomeness. We'll I have some bad news, nerds. I almost shook his hand and I didn't increase in awesomeness. In fact some would say that I've decreased in awesomeness since my last post got so many Frenchy view, but those people don't know what the baguette they're talking about! Though come to think of it, the awkward way in which I almost shook his hand may be the reason for the zero awesomeness absorption.....if you guys could only see how my blog looks before spellcheck then you'd know how awesome I truly am :) In all seriousness his new book "The Rithmatist" is awesome and you should give it a read.

Trist is getting big. She'll pop with the parasite soon. Then all those millions of outfits she's received still won't ever be worn. Even if she stayed that size forever Little P would never wear the same outfit twice in her entire averaged 79 year lifespan ("List of Countries by Life Expectancy", wikipedia.com). July 20th is the date. In case you got too distracted by how cute the baby clothes are. Mom, that includes you.

As far as wedding stuff goes. I'm doing a very small wedding at Thanksgiving Point January 4, 2014. You can all calm down right now because yes, I will be sending out invites as well. I'm just informing you that a decision has been made. I have picked a dress, shoes, bridesmaids stuff, and have a rough idea of what I want for a cake. As far as flowers go I'm still looking. Same kinda goes with a photographer.... As I said before it's going to be a small wedding. I'm not having a reception and have on my invite list about 60 people, including the person Leo will be bringing along.

My family is now just back from the hot desert of Arizona and will be leaving for the temperate forests of the Uinta Mountain range. My mom just can't wait :)

I can't think of anything else I need to be sarcastic about so I'll cya in a month or so!! ;)
