Pie Day!!!

Howdy ya'll!

Nope, I'm definitely not Texan. Feel way too much like poser sayin' that line. I got some good feedback from that last post I sent you all (not ya'll). I also got a lot of silent feedback which reminds me to say this time what I didn't say last time. If you don't want me to send you an email about an updated blog post send me an email and all your annoying emails from me will be solved (except for you Shan, you're just in denial). Easy peasy lemon squeezy. That's a strange phrase. I wonder where it comes from....unless I just made it up then I know mostly where it comes from. So the latest update goes a-like this...school blah, blah, blah. Work blah, blah, blah. Tristan made a pretty delicious pie. I mean that both literally and figuratively.

Don't worry that orangish glow at the top of the picture is not our house aflame....yet. Fun weekend. Blah, blah, homework blah. Wasn't that fascinating and just dripping with detail. Just like a letter from Kelcie in Italy. The weekend was pretty good. I took my sisters that are not married to some 'spooky' places that they've been wanting to go see. The old Primary Children's Hospital (which is an apartment complex or something....weird) and the Old Mill. The Old Mill is definitely more creepy to me though I wouldn't want to live that old hospital now matter how nice it looks. We also tried to find our mom's old house in the Avenues. We still don't know if we found it. My parents had an "anti-anneversery" and were gone all Saturday. I don't know what an anti-anneversery is, in fact it sounds something like an oxymoron to me. Ask the bald one I call father since that's what he named it. I don't think I'll write every week. Maybe later if I end up going far a way for 26 weeks(not years, Jar-rod). Speaking of such things as that, I have my Skype interview on Sunday with one of the Australian intern people. They want to make sure I really can speak English and am qualified to go. So pretty much I'm screwed because we all know that I can't talk to save my life because every time I need to say something important my Austin kicks in high gear. My dog can "speak" better than I can. *two points for me!* I hope it goes well.  Alright, well I'm off to do other things so toodles.

I heard this song Golden on the radio the other day. I thought some of you might like it. Enjoy.

  1. If you do go to australia you should train yourself to talk like an Aussie! And learn some cool lingo like "put the shrimp on the barbay" Except cooler and come back and teach me
