Learning Is Fun, Shayli

I have been so excited to write this blog!! :D :D Why, might you or might you not ask? Well, let me answer that not asked question because I know deep down you really do want to know why. Because I have been exceptionally hilarious in my mind lately and I love reading this I write because they bring a smile to my face. “Oh that Kaiya! She’s so clever and witty!! The things she comes up with I would never think of in a million years!!  Oh wait, yes I would because that’s me!!! *proceeds to chortle like a overstuffed man in a tux and mustache*” Without any further ado, let the fun (for me to type and then chortle over my own jokes that no one else gets) BEGIN!!!!!

This last week I think just about everyone in my family learned an important lesson. If they didn’t I’ll just make something up that sounds grood :)

Clay finally learned what his mom meant when she said nothing good happens after midnight! (alright it was 11:45 but still close enough!)

Shay learned never to ask dad what he wants for dinner when texting for mom

Tristan learned that she’s glad she didn’t have twins

Dad learned to always check who you’re texting

Mom learned she can have lots of fun toys and hotels on wheels but they come with a big bed all to herself for two weeks

Kelc learned how to avoid getting trampled by high school runners

Miki learned feeling and looking like a princess means irish lads will hit on you but they still think your mom’s better looking

Leo learned to watch what you say around any "Margret Thatchers". Oh aye!! ;)

And I learned that school is hard, and that’s why you should do well the first time so you don’t have to redo any stupid classes! I also relearned that wet ice cream provoked farts are THE worst!

Another thing I learned this week came from work. I learned about PooPourri™ and now you can too.

Life is good and wedding plans are too. Just a few little things here and there left to do. Such as buying envelopes for the invites, getting pictures for the center piece frames, and buying ties for the men. Some of the bigger stuff is choosing the cake flavor, buying Leo’s ring, and crap like that. Nothing too big. I also have little things that I need to take care of before I leave like renew my license, get my eyes and teeth check up on, and such. Other than that shtuff everything is good and done!

So for those who don’t know I am not working at Office Depot these days. I quite there sometime ago and am now working at Overstock Drugstore. It’s an online company my neighbors own. I pretty much do data inventory. Not too bad of a gig :) I like it MUCH better than my previous job. I am also currently feeding the place I rode at twice a day for some extra cash, as well as taking one class at the U, and leasing a horse named Jane. Add talking to my Irish pen-pal and time is pretty well taken up. Life is Good™.

Here are some of the animals they have at the barn I feed.
**WARNING**
CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES OF A PIG, AND BY GRAPHIC I MEAN IT CONTAINS IMAGES OF A PIG.

Believe it or not that pig figured out how to get out of it's pen. It lifts the gate up off it's hinges and then walks on out. Freaky smart pig. I couldn't lift the gate back onto both hinges and it lifted it off with it's face! I tried to keep it from lifting the gate up by placing cider blocks under the gate but it moves those around like legos. Note to self, never get a pig, unless I would like nightmares the rest of my life.

This is a cool spider I found in the mailbox the other day.

I flipped it out of the mail box but I'm not sure where I flipped it onto....maybe my bag, the mail, or even myself. I'm not sure. I didn't see it anywhere but that doesn't mean anything. But shhhhhh! Don't tell my mom! She doesn't know I possibly brought a spider in the house and then laid on her bed!!! And what she doesn't know won't hurt her!! ;)

This is a cool picture Leo took Sunday of Belfast City. This is just outside of his work.

Well, go learn something now. And remember, learning is fun Shayli.

ps Dad, I'm sorry if mom has dreams about glow in the dark spiders tonight.

Comic Con SLC 2013

Hello one and all!! I told you I would be back soon and I don't like to disappoint. Well, I guess I don't mind it sometimes....

While we were getting ready to go to Comic Con SLC 2013 Kelcie exclaimed disgusted, "My costume is a wreck!! I want to be like Jesus not look like him!!!" I know know about you but I don't remember any description from the bible saying Jesus looked like Father Christmas, then again I'm no bible expert.

Here are some pictures of the three of us from Comic Con SLC 2013. Kelcie is Tom Bombadil from the J.R.R. Tolkien, Shayli is Bilbo Baggins also from J.R.R. Tolkien, and I am Will Graham from the tv show produced by Bryan Fuller. If you want more pictures from Comic Con SLC 2013 click here. Enjoy you people!

A Song For The Times

I suppose I ought to write a new post since it's been a new month for over 20 days now....it's really closer to two new months. Maybe I'll just wait till September...

I had this mostly finished but apparently it didn't save so you might not get this until September now as I'm very irritated with blogger..... > :{  Kelcie's birthday and now I still don't want to re-type all that...

Shayli was transformed into an ugly crooked nostriled beast and I still don't want to retype my previously existing and wonderful post. Stupid blogger, see how you make them cry and nash their teeth? No Deidre, I will not join you and the dark brethren in your evil cult "Tumblr".

Ok, so I’m feeling less resentment towards you Blogger. I think that we can try this mutalistic relationship once more. But I’m warning you, one more bleepin mistake like that from you again and we’re through!!

Let’s see I think the last time I updated you all I forgot to update you on a fantastic thing that’s not new but I newly finally tried it out and was delighted to find that I wasn’t disappointed in it! Thanks for the suggestion once again Deidre. I’ll have you all know that Deidre has great taste in things. That is, things that aren’t Asian or zombie bunnies.

As many of you know I no longer work at Office Depot *does a little dance* The condensed version is that I was not liking my job at all. It was extremely stressful and definitely did not pay well enough. I was told about a job opening at my neighbors online drugstore business and inquired after it. They were willing to hire me, give me more hours, better pay, more reliable and fixed schedule, as well as giving me weekends off and worked with my school schedule. It has been so much better so far. I really like my co-workers and the work is so much less stressful. Most days I have been putting their products on Amazon. Some days I have picked the product and prepared it for shipping. Super chill and pretty sweet :) Awe-some!!

For those of you who participated in my poll from last time, thank you. The winning vote was option number three which looked like this

I’m letting you all know that you are did not choose the one I did but I’m glad to know that you hated my idea and picked the other option. Now I know where you all stand and where you all will stand in about 30 seconds because you will have transported into an underground volcano and will be standing boiling alive whilst drowning. Soup anyone?

I’ve discovered I mimic things. I’m sorry if this irritates you. I’m not sorry for being that awesome though.

I am in school, still. I am retaking one class this fall and will graduate in December, finally. I am retaking the class because I got a C and it has helped make it so I have a 2.999 GPA and I need a 3.0. Super fun!! Cell Biology time!!

Some one made conversation while I’m interrupting their important sporting even, baseball or some shizz like that, asked where I will be living. I thought everyone knew but if this smart A doesn’t know it’s likely many people don’t. Leo and I are going to live in a town called Dundalk (done-dock, is kinda how you say it). It’s in the Republic of Ireland about halfzies from both Dublin and Belfast. Leo is from the Belfastish area but we cannot live there because it is under UK authority and the UK immigration is tough. I will be going to look for a place to live in the next two months or so. We’d like a house but will settle for anything we can get and like alright.

Before I quit my job at Office Depot the most unusual book was requested to be printed. The best part is on the second page.

Yup, she had it made for her daughter. I still have the original copy, my dad was curious what advice it had so I had to print it, so if you’d like to learn a thing or two you never knew I wouldn’t mind letting you take a view or even take it home with you.

I’m currently leasing a 6 year old Thoroughbred mare and this mare cut her face open pretty good earlier this summer. It’s pretty gnarly so don’t look if you want to keep you food down.

Amazingly enough she looks fan-freakin-tastic now :) It’s amazing what the body can do.

About two weeks ago we had a tarantula in our backyard. Key word had *hangs head* as dad said, “You picked the wrong yard to live in”. We will miss you in the fact that our dad killed you with a rake. All rake welders and onlookers will most likely be dealt with by giant arachnids when they die. Just a guess though.

Taunya and I had so much fun back a few months ago. We went to Park City and did a bunch of things like the Alpine Slide, Alpine Coaster, and the Zip Line. Pretty fantastic. Even Taunya approved by smiling for the first time in her life.

Leo was in the World Fire and Police games as well since my last post. Wow, I didn’t know so much could happen in a monthish. Never let me go six months without a post. I’ll be sitting here for a week typing it all up! Anywho, that Leo kid placed 8th out of 200+ contestants in the downhill racing division. They let you practice and then you have two runs and they take the better of the two as your final time.

Here is a video of Leo racing hereThis is the same section of the track but at a different angle here. At 1:42 at this link you will see him mess up and put his foot down and this is just a fun one to watch them all burn!! >:D Overall, good job babe. You’ve done us all proud. And by us I don’t actually know if anyone else is proud, other than myself.

I should be getting my bridals done next week and this weekend Kelcie, Shay, and myself will be attending Comic Con. Should be good. I will take pictures because like us, I’m sure many will be cosplaying :)

If you haven’t seen yet there are some nice pictures taken of Lilja. I don’t know who took the photos but it looks like they have a pretty decent camera.

I feel like I rushed this at the end but what do you care? You finally, FINALLY got your crazykai fix.

But don't worry, I'll be back soon with an update on the Comic Con!! Ciao belle X

ps Doesn't this just look so delish? Also check out Welcome To NightVale here or look at the area to the left of this post for the feed for it.
