Hello one and all. Welcome to my blog. As all of you living in the inverted dirty desert air of Utah know, tis the season to have respiratory problems and freeze your thumbs off. We all know that thumbs are the only thing separating us from being like dog or rabbits unable to grab things, pawing all the time. That and a over(or in some people's case, under developed) brain. But thumbs!! That's the real biggy! This time on my bloggy blog of blogness I will be writing about things so I hope that you enjoy what I will be writing in the future. I myself, also hope that I enjoy what I will write shortly in the future for all those future us's to enjoy.
Life is going well. School is almost done. Yahoo!! Now it is done!!! YIPPIE SKIPPY!!!! So far I think I'm going alright in my class. I really hope so anyway. My last exam was on Dec 17 and now I'm graduating, even if I don't get the grade I am aiming for. (hey this is Jared, Kaiya was kind enough to let me talk to my future self and to say hey. So hey future self, you're awesome.) Wow, the future rocks :) So now that I'm done with my undergrad regardless of the grade I receive I bet you can't guess where you can find me these next few days. If you guessed freezing outside shoveling poopcicles then you guessed 100% correct! Ah, and nowhere I'd rather be :) You can't beat horse time :) It is much needed too. So if you want some good old fashion exercise or even if you want to come spend time with me hackin away at frozen poo, just let me know because I'll gladly welcome the help :) What?! No takers?!!
Who doesn't love a photobombing dad?
Yeah, pretend like you were just there by accident but we all know what you're really doing, dad.
Wedding planning is going well. Just finishing up with the little details and such. The biggest little detail gets here on Sunday at 8:50pm! Yay!!! :D I can't even wait for Sunday!!! Who knew that Sundays could be something to look forward to?! ;) Going off of what happened at Tristan's wedding, Thanksgiving point doesn't allow rice, birdseed, or small things to be thrown at the bride and groom. I didn't know that people threw birdseed at the couple. What's the history with that one? Was the goal to make as much of an impossible mess to clean up in the shortest amount of time? If anyone finds a reason for these traditions please let me know. Also, if you feel so inclined to get us a gift, please just give us money. Not that we wouldn't be grateful for pots and pans, they're just things that we won't be able to take with us and will be put into storage for three years. Money will be much more useful to us if you want to give us something. Thanks :) Also, if anyone has any allergies to anything, sorry I didn't ask earlier. Oops :)
Most of you have seen this but it's just too funny not to post for for a second watch :)
My dog smacked me in the face and scratched my lips. If I would have known she glued glass shards and razor blades to the bottom of her paws I wouldn't have asked her to speak three times in a row. Watch out, apparently Rora is from the hood yo.
In the final stages of preparation for getting hitched to a witch, Leo has got his drivers license, car insurance, and an apartment for us. It's a bottom apartment and has two bedrooms, one bathroom, washing machine, and even a dish washer. It's fully furnished so all the couches will be ours to use but the tv is not. Leo said that when he went to get the key they were repainting and fixing the place up so hopefully it's all set and ready to go when we get back. The pictures have things from the previous tenant so unfortunately for those that will stay with us we will not have a giant gecko on the furnace. A deal breaker I know, but hopefully you'll find it in your hearts to forgive us for not having a giant gecko in our possession yet. I think our address will be
51 Crois Croinn
Dundalk
Co.Louth
Ireland
but I'm not 100% sure yet. I'll let you know when I live there :)
To give you perspective if you don't have it already here are some maps
We will be living in an area called Saltown of Dundalk. I'm not quite sure how it works there, if it's a different city or what. He will still be working in Belfast while we are living down south, in case you were wondering why I have a mapped out route to Belfast here for. NOW YOU KNOW!!
To pump my sister up and make the rest of you jealous here are some famous sites around Ireland that my sisters will get to see.
Giants Causeway
Glens of Antrim
Cliffs of Moher
This is a fun video of my mom embarrassing our bishop, the man who will be marrying me in about 2 . 5 weeks :)
Now all we can do is what for that magical day!! We all know what I'm talking about!! Yup, December 22!! Yay for Leo getting here!!! :) Also, enjoy Christmas as well :) Wasn't the future fun?
Awesome post! Leo did a great job finding you guys a home sweet home. It looks great! WOW! I never knew your mom had such talent. I bet that was a Christmas party to never forget ;)
