Howdy hey there. So
it's been a few weeks and summer is almost done for the kiddies. Poor you! Soon
you will have to go into the redundant routine of school. And you thought you
were done with it when you got your fancy paper that essentially told you that
you were done. Well that paper lied. In fact ALL paper lies. Don’t ever listen
to what paper tells you. This being on the internet and basically e-paper
counts as full truthful fact. You should believe everything on the internet. It
will never lead you astray like paper! *spits* Such distasteful stuff!
So last I left you I
left you with stories of crazy Mick, the neighborhood hooligan and idiot. No
body, unless they were an drunken idiot would try to get retribution on the
place that let them walk out with the door with beer two days in a row by
blowing up their gas pump. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the one
lighten the match for that firework show definitely won't get to watch it.
I heard back in June
this lady and her little five year old came into our store. The little girl had
a backpack on that was far to big for her. Another woman (we'll call her A)
came in and knew lady. A and lady started chatting as we were ringing them out
and A asked lady if those were highlights in her daughters hair. Lady said that
they were and A asked how old lady's daughter was. Lady said five and that she
had asked for them herself. A looked astonished and made noises of unbelief.
Lady said that the best part was that her daughter and this other five year old
kid had kissed and now they were in love. A made more noises of disbelief as
lady and her daughter with the very large backpack and highlights left the
shop.
Kind of a crazy world we live in. I know I
have, and often do, get wrapped up in the things of my life that I don't take
time to realize the things going on out there. This is a huge planet,
comparatively when referencing it to your house, with lots of people. Most of
those people aren't doing much but living the best they can. There are some
though that are making an impact on this hunk of rock we live on and call
Earth, others may call is Jasoom. Now I'm going to go all Pocahontas, as Clint
and Kyler would say, on you, but my major did come with an emphasis in
environmental studies. Ever heard of fracking? It is a typing of mining for
natural gases. Fracking is short for hydraulic fracturing,(unconventional gas extraction) this
is a highly industrial process involving pumping a mix of water, sand and
chemicals under huge pressure into gas bearing rock. Now, I'm not here to try
and persuade you to view it as the destructive health risk I see it as but to
let you make your own mind up about it and at very least let you know that it
exists, because someday it could effect you. Click here and here. Click here to
watch a video. If you like seeing things like water lighting on fire you'll
like parts of the video.
The newest things in
our lives are that Leo is still loving the little Swift. The other day while
driving the fun Swift he saw a car spin and flip on the motorway. It was like a
scene right out of a James Bond movie. It made him love that the little Swift
didn't love acrobatics like that other car had. I loved the little Swift even
more for that than he did. I received my residence card, finally, or my Stamp 4
EUFam. It allows me to live and work in Ireland for up to five years, or when
ever my passport expires. So I guess I'm coming home before September 12, 2016.
For those of you who have not heard, and I'm sorry if I have said this already,
but we will not be coming home for any kind of visit or whatnot between now and
2016 when we move back. In the mean time we are trying to figure out what we
need to do to move ourselves up North. It's been a difficult process as no one
really seems to know. We hope to move up closer to Leo's work and school to
save on money and so that he doesn't have to drive so far everyday, especially
when school starts again. Hopefully we can get that sorted soon. This weekend
we are going to see Deidre and Leo's friend Karen in London! Yay! It should be
lots of fun and I will hopefully have lots of pictures! In between now and
then, here are some pictures from a few years ago that I thought everyone would
enjoy! And you're welcome, to all of you who I didn't ask if I could post
these :D
Happy Birthday Leo!! Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and gifts!!!

Aunt Tanya/Bailey's account I'm glad that you enjoy my blog so much :) It's always nice to know that 1) people enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy writing them and 2) other people think I am as funny as I think I am. I will work on getting some good goober pictures of my dad for you. If you want to see a really good one you should ask about his Sam's Club card, *shifty eyes* but I didn't tell you that! I will be missing you as well but be sure to have an awesome Thanksgiving and Christmas all the same! Thanks for your comment!
