A Horse Not Named Ed

It's come to my attention that some of my links do not work. But it took almost a week for this to happen. Shame on you folks. Позор на Вас люди. Scham auf Ihnen Leute. (My German following is growing :))
If you want to see both of the dances you can watch them at this coloured word (I'm preparing for a British following. It's bound to happen soon).  This coloured word. And if the link doesn't work, please let me know so I can change it before a week is up and everyone is through with my tiresome post.

I think all the children everywhere would agree when I say that the break has been a good one. And long enough that you can actually enjoy it. As many know, my dumb sisters are going to the happiest place on earth without me *narrows eyes*. Bummer pisser pisser.

Today I schooled cross country and is was much fun :) I love my sport. I also took some pictures of Scout

...and I also was kicked for my first time ever

I have a very patriotic bruise from it. A horse named Skipper kicked be because he got loose and I was trying to stop him from running away by holding on to his blanket. Not a good idea. That left me kicked, on the ground, and almost trampled by another horse. Lesson learned.

As some of you may have noticed there are new features to my blog, a space to enter your email address if you want to get an email once I've posted something new. It's really easy and works well so if you're interested give it a try. I've also added a bio but it's not that great. Really. No, I'm not saying this to make you look. I promise. Now I'm off to my first scuba class. Have a swell Monday night all!

Like it's Dyno-mite! Cuz I've told you once...

Over the last few days being with family, I heard from someone who will not be named that I don't write enough on my blog. Though I don't know why this individual was complaining so freakin' much because they're too busy always ice fishin' to even read my blog but whatever man. So I don't know about all of you but this was a nice Christmas. If I hadn't got my beautiful computer for Christmas in October I'd whine about my freakin' lucky sisters going to Disney World without me >:[ Jerks. As my grandfather eloquently put it, "Bummer, pisser, pisser, bummer, pisser!" I couldn't have said it better myself. But, since I did get this love computer I am currently typing this post on and that P.O.S. that we traded in for my dad's fancy new car, I don't really have room to complain. I got a pass of all passes to some fun things around here that should be good. As well as some clothes (not cloths), money, CD's, and slippers. So good. Grood even.

Some of you may know that my plan for after I graduate in May is to compete horses and work full-time until I leave for Australia. In order to do this I need a horse. I know this may come as a shock to some of you but it is true. It is something that is vitally important. I thought about using a stick horse once to save some money but in the end nothing but the real deal would do. I just love shovelin' poop too much. I'm like Merlin and get it in my hair an all over my face. It rejuvenates way better than that ageLOC stuff.

Anywho, I've been riding the horse that I will begin leasing in February and working a little at the barn again. This has made me very sore. I wish my body was as strong as my brain (not brian) because i can do a 25k marathon with my brain. If I could arm wrestle with my brain I'd dominate 11/10 times. But alas, I am a small week student who only as muscle enough to pick up books and write notes, past that and I'm down for the count. This horse's is named Scout. I'll try to remember to take some pictures of him so those of you who would like can see what he looks like.

As I mentioned above, we traded in my Chrysler for a Hyundai. It's the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited Turbo.

It's my dad's new car. So after my P.O.S. was fixed my dad took Kelcie's car into get checked because the check engine light was on. It needed ~$3500 worth of repairs so they traded it in for a 2007 Hyundai Sonata.

That night my dad decided he didn't want to deal with the Chrysler anymore and that we'd trade it in and get him a new car and I could drive his old car until I left for Australia and then they'd sell it. So now my dad has two new cars. They're both nice cars and are almost a joy to drive. If only they were sticks.....

No new news about/from Australia. I did pass all my hard classes this semester so yay me! I was worried but not anymore. I'm so glad I'm getting so close to finishing my BS. Ironically enough I've had to do plenty of bsing to get this far. I'm not a science person. Some people get the stuff so well but I have to struggle so hard just to scratch the surface. If there was another way I could have as an open path to working with whatever kind of animals I want I would've done it. It's interesting stuff but there are definitely other things I'd rather learn. Can I get an amen? AMEN!
We got Just Dance 3 and a filmed my parents and Kelcie dancing. They're great.

This is for you Christine :)

I am taking a class to get my scuba certification starting Jan 2. It requires me to do homework. Lame. I was able to sign up for the class at a really good deal so that's pretty rad.
Meh. I can't think of anything else to say so I'll go to sleep now. If I don't see you by the new year, MERRY NEW YEAR and to all a good knight!!! and I suppose night too...if I have to.

ps  funny

Back from Boston

Home again, home again jiggity jig. So as you read this highly enjoyable post be sure to include my new Boston accent into all the appropriate words. Christine, the Phipps clan, and New England were all pretty swell. It was a really good trip to a really different place. First of all I still can't get over how many trees there are, how they're everywhere, and that it's not in the mountains but sea level where all these trees are. Trees, trees, trees...so many trees. You might say it's the perfect place for evil giraffe to live. Clarification for those of you who might not know, when a word or two is blue and underlined that means it's a link to something, usually a video, that will clarify something previously mentioned. So click on it. This is how my wonderful trip went in a short summary. I was picked up and taken to University of New Hampshire (UNH) where I hung out with my good pal Christine. The next day was spent with her horse and that evening we drove down to Boston and saw Sherlock Holmes. Very good movie by the way, **** <- four stars. The next day we went to the museum of science and saw science stuff. And even though Christine wasn't able to catch the mouse with the snake glove I'll still be friends with her (someone has to ;) ). Later that night we walked some of the Trail of Freedom. It's this trail that takes you to historical places thru out Boston. Pretty neato keeno. The next day we took a quick trip to  Rhode Island and then headed to Maine where I stood in the Atlantic Ocean. 2/7 of the worlds oceans have had the privilege of me standing in them so far. I shrieked in horror (remember the accent) when the tide reached me. How anyone would want to surf in that water is more than my brain can imagine. I had my first sea food from the sea and not from shipping crates from the sea and it was pretty good. I got the combo and tried ha-something-or-other-fish-I-can't-ever-remember, shrimp, lobster, and sea scallops. It was pretty good. We spent the night in NH and then did stuff with her horse in the day but ended up in Boston that night. The next morning we walked the Freedom Trail -2. It was pretty neat. It was a short trip and I could've stayed longer but it was very good to finally see Christine again and meet her Bravo pony. I had a really good time in the East Coast and would like to thank Christine and her family again for a very fun trip. Pictures can be see here. There is a short narration by Christine you should watch because she is a fabulous narrator, AND because I sound super cool and not manly at all.

Maybe more later. I haven't decided yet....

It came upon an inverted night, when all the smog appeared...

Wahoo! Yippie! Huzzah! Ya! The semester is finally, FINALLY over!!!! *Heel clicks seven or eight times. I lost track...* I do have one final tomorrow, so yes, technically school isn't over just yet but pretty much. My hardest classes are over!!! I just hope I passed them both so that I won't ever have to think about that stuff again :)

Being the one with the password an ID for this blog, I have the ability to see how many views it gets a day and from where in the world those views are coming from. Do not panic if you're stalking my blog waiting every minute for more delectable cyber words from yours truly because I can not pin-point your EXACT location (unfortunately...). I just know your approximate geographical location (USA, Chile, Russia, etc.). First off I'd like to thank all of you for viewing my blog. I'm glad I'm not hated by EVERYONE. Well, at least you're viewing even if you are just mocking me the whole time (mom and Tristan, >:[ I spell just fine....) In any case if anyone can explain why I have so many views from Russia that'd be great. I also have single views from Chile, Indonesia, Germany, Columbia, and Ukraine. These I can understand a little bit more (just a little bit though because Indonesia, what the heck?). There are a lot of people in the world and some of those lots of people might randomly wander on to my blog. But why have Russians 18+ times viewed my blog? It must be really boring there if you're viewing a blog of a person that you do not know and have no connection to 18+ times. There's got to be better things to do. Play some good Russian games like...Russian drinking games or Russian Roulette. Something better than this blog, which shouldn't be hard. Just saying'...

This is reason number one why you shouldn't watch Glee...need I say more?

If any family could substitute for the seven dwarves on their days off it would be my family. We'd fit like a glove, a patched together and pretty worn, but we'd fit. We'll start with yours truly. Now if you can't guess which of the seven (so many choices!) little men I'd be then I don't know why you're still reading this blog because I probably don't know you. Are you one of those Russians? Grumpy is who my family simultaneously said I'd be. They are very rude people and you should avoid contact with them if you don't want them to say something untruthfully mean about you. Mother dearest would be Doc (because if she's not the boss then I'd like to give up Grumpy and run for Doc and when I'm nominated I promise...) because she says so that's why! Miki would be bashful because she's so timid and shy she let's Kindergarteners push her around. Kelcie would be Happy. In fact, I think that the definition of happy should be Kelcie. Tristan would be Sleepy. Those of you who saw her at Grandma Carla's last weekend know what I'm taking about. Dad would be Gas, I mean Sneezy. Dopey would be Kelcie. Once Shay can put the rolls in the oven twice with plastic wrap on top, once with a paper towel, and once with a cloth towel and uses dish soap instead of detergent in the dish washer then she can be Dopey. Good luck Shay. Until that day she can be one of the animals the Dwarves let in their house to clean. She can start on my bathroom first. I needs to be cleaned good because I just had ice cream...

I'm excited to leave Friday morning for Boston. It should be a real fun time. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm trying to decide if I should bring my computer and then I can keep you regularly updated. You should comment or send me an email if you'd like me to bring it with you. Either way, I'll be seeing most of you real soon seeing how Christmas is only 12 days away. Ahh, and school is over :) Now I can read that Brandon Sanderson book!

So to recap with the Australia thing, I got accepted to do an internship in Marine Biology in Australia September 2012. It'll be a six month program and I'll probably end up somewhere along the coast of the Great Barrier Reef though I don't know exactly where yet. I won't get placed until sometime the beginning of next year. I haven't heard anything from them since. Because my visa will last a year and the program is only six months long I'm playing with the idea of staying the extra six months and working there. When else am I going to have the chance to live in Australia?!! But, we'll see how I'm feeling when that time comes...

I bought a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus the Saturday after Thanksgiving for $2300 some odd dollars from a dealership. It has about 140k miles on it.

I was able to get for so cheap because the mechanic didn't look at it. It had some funny quirks about it, like locking itself while the keys were inside, or having to unlock the the car with the remote and then unlock the car with the keys because the remote only deactivates the alarm. It had some problems with the motor mounts that we got fixed and everything was good. Until the car died on me as I got on the  freeway Saturday. Luckily I wasn't far from a shop and my dad was able to tow me to the shop just as they were starting to close. They got to it Monday and told us that the main computer had fried and the timing belt was pretty cracked and looked like it was going to break soon. They couldn't find much more than that because the computer was down but they estimated that it was take $1600 to fix those problems. Luckily my insurance check for my car came in the mail yesterday. I got $4409 for my beautiful green Subaru. So after paying my dad back and fixing this dumb car up I might break even, if I'm lucky. I'm thinking about selling it for some cash before I head out over seas to Australia next year but we'll see when that time comes.

Well, I'm going to go enjoy some freedom for a bit. Until next time enjoy these comics

A Dog or Two

My mom is dog watching for her friend Lisa. Lisa has a 10 month old Old English Sheepdog named Winnie. These are some pictures of her and Aurora. She's a pretty cute puppy. Rory likes her but isn't a very good host. After their first ten minutes of play when Winnie first got here Rory was ready for Winnie to go. She's been pretty mopey lately.
