Some of you may know that my plan for after I graduate in May is to compete horses and work full-time until I leave for Australia. In order to do this I need a horse. I know this may come as a shock to some of you but it is true. It is something that is vitally important. I thought about using a stick horse once to save some money but in the end nothing but the real deal would do. I just love shovelin' poop too much. I'm like Merlin and get it in my hair an all over my face. It rejuvenates way better than that ageLOC stuff.
Anywho, I've been riding the horse that I will begin leasing in February and working a little at the barn again. This has made me very sore. I wish my body was as strong as my brain (not brian) because i can do a 25k marathon with my brain. If I could arm wrestle with my brain I'd dominate 11/10 times. But alas, I am a small week student who only as muscle enough to pick up books and write notes, past that and I'm down for the count. This horse's is named Scout. I'll try to remember to take some pictures of him so those of you who would like can see what he looks like.
As I mentioned above, we traded in my Chrysler for a Hyundai. It's the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited Turbo.
It's my dad's new car. So after my P.O.S. was fixed my dad took Kelcie's car into get checked because the check engine light was on. It needed ~$3500 worth of repairs so they traded it in for a 2007 Hyundai Sonata.
That night my dad decided he didn't want to deal with the Chrysler anymore and that we'd trade it in and get him a new car and I could drive his old car until I left for Australia and then they'd sell it. So now my dad has two new cars. They're both nice cars and are almost a joy to drive. If only they were sticks.....
No new news about/from Australia. I did pass all my hard classes this semester so yay me! I was worried but not anymore. I'm so glad I'm getting so close to finishing my BS. Ironically enough I've had to do plenty of bsing to get this far. I'm not a science person. Some people get the stuff so well but I have to struggle so hard just to scratch the surface. If there was another way I could have as an open path to working with whatever kind of animals I want I would've done it. It's interesting stuff but there are definitely other things I'd rather learn. Can I get an amen? AMEN!
We got Just Dance 3 and a filmed my parents and Kelcie dancing. They're great.
I am taking a class to get my scuba certification starting Jan 2. It requires me to do homework. Lame. I was able to sign up for the class at a really good deal so that's pretty rad.
Meh. I can't think of anything else to say so I'll go to sleep now. If I don't see you by the new year, MERRY NEW YEAR and to all a good knight!!! and I suppose night too...if I have to.
ps funny
Kaiya, you only wish you were as cool as Merlin and able to get so much poop on your face and in your hair.
ReplyDeleteYou are a rather funny blogger. Oh and who is dumb enough to go ice fishing?(cough, cough, Shan) Fishing is bad enough when it is warm.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment Unkown. You speak much wisdom for such a lost name.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't access the first video link :(
ReplyDeleteI did go ice fishing for the first time today though! I caught the biggest one! :D It was quite the trill; however, pretty cold.
That's exciting about your scuba class! Is that in preparation for Australia or just for fun? Hopefully both.
Sounds like you had a good Christmas and the new cars are working great. I agree with you that sticks are better :)
