Fun, Fun, Fun That's Not In The Sun

So yesterday was a day. It was a day that most call Saturday. What do you normally do on Saturdays? Shayli loves Saturdays because that's the day you get to clean all day instead of play and have crazy fun times. Yay for Saturdays!!! This Saturday was a good one for both of us Shay. You didn't have to clean  down in St. George and I hiked and biked. Yesterday was the most untouristy day so far. After breakfast we walked up to Helen's Tower and Leo showed me a little bit of dh(downhill) mountain biking. To put it simply he does some pretty crazy nuts things, but don't bother telling him that because he won't understand how it's crazy. Poor lad, the first part of recovery is admitting you have a problem. I guess he'll keep being crazy. He'll fit in with that Brewer clan just fine. Now those kids have lost ALL their marbles.

After watchin him doin a bit on the bike he gave me some tips and sent me on my way down a trail. Nothing like he was doing but it was still scary as crap because man all mighty!!! Can his bike pick up speed quick or what?! One thing that made it a little scarier for me is that his breaks are reversed. the back break is on the left hand and the front is on the right. Once I did it a few times it was actually pretty fun. It definitely gives you a rush. Even though it was a lot of fun I don't recommend some people trying it. Tristan, for example should definitely not try it, unless of course you're looking to collect some dead wife money from insurance folks Clay.

When we got back from that excursion we had sausage rolls and baked beans. Mom, I am apologizing far in advance for Leo, if he makes it there. He is one of the fussiest eaters I have ever met. You know that's bad when it's coming from me. He likes very bland foods. And vegetables. Beans and potatoes are the only veggies I've had since I've been here and definitely no fruits. That's one thing I'm excited to eat again when I get home. Foods that actually have a lot of flavor!!! Later we met up with Michael and went to a store with him. When we got back we watched the Mask of Zorro and that was pretty much my Saturday in a nutshell. Where ever you are, I hope that you have a great day. If you live in Utah, I'll see you soon if not ttfn!!

  1. Thanks a lot Kaiya. Now Clay is over here plotting my death. He said he needs to "talk to Brad" about whether or not I have a life insurance policy out or not. So if I die suspiciously in the next year, I blame you for planting the seed. :-{
