Hello :) So there isn't much to report today. I woke up, ate, and Andrew took me to the plaza where I quizzed all the cell phone carriers about their pre-paid phones. One thing that I found out is that my old phone, the one I can use back home, doesn't hold a sim card. That was a bummer because it would have been a heck of a lot cheaper to just by the card, obviously. I found a plan that wasn't too bad tho and got a cheap phone. The phone is one of those Nokias that can't take pictures. I get $450 credit a month for thirty dollars and the phone was about forty dollars. The exchange for $1 USD = $0.956 AUS which is awesome. When I was in Ireland it was crazy $1 USD = 0.616 GBP. After getting a phone I filled out some stuff for my internship and then spent most of the afternoon at the beach. It's so nice and close :) So lovely! I walked down the beach and then back up where I got some fish and chips aka fish and fries. CAUTION!!! The fries are really hot and will burn your tongue! Beware the hot fries!! Even though I usually like fish, for some reason I didn't really like these fillets. I don't know what kind of fish it was but my stomach did not like it. After my tongue burning meal, I read for a while before heading back to the house. Andrew made some lamb and a salad for dinner as Maureen worked an evening shift tonight and got home not too long ago. In short, it's very nice here and I think I'm going to like it a lot. I can't wait to start the internship! That's when the real fun begins ;) I probably won't post anything tomorrow because nothing really is happening. I'll probably go swim or something tomorrow but I'll be sure to post something after my first day at Underwater World. Until then, adios!!!
